The Settling-in Phase

The settling-in phase is the foundation for the holistic personality development of the child in our daycare center.

The settling-in process follows the "Berlin Model".

Beforehand, approx. 6 weeks before the summer holidays, we offer a get-to-know-you afternoon once a week,
where the children and parents get to know the facility and the staff.
Thus, the settling-in is very gentle and intensive.

Close to the admission date, a personal admission interview takes place in the form of a home visit.
Here, individual questions and needs of the child and the parents are discussed.

Please bear in mind, we are a daycare center with 12 children under 3 years of age.
We adapt our staff ratio as best as possible to the needs of the group and focus on the well-being of the individual child.
During the settling-in period, we strive to ensure constant care so that your child can build a firm bond and relationship with one staff member.
After a successful settling-in, we accompany your child to approach other staff members and accept them as relationship partners.

The time of settling-in is agreed individually with the parents.
