Swimming
The 5 and 6-year-old children dive in once a week with the swimming school.
In addition to water familiarization, the children also have the opportunity
to earn the "Seepferdchen" (Seahorse) swimming badge.
Gymnastics Dwarfs
In their early years, children discover the world through movement.
It is a basic need to understand and get to know the world with all their senses.
Through interchangeable platforms and a built-in mezzanine level in the U3 group,
children can satisfy their urge to move within their group setting.
Bubbling Fish
In our world, language is an essential prerequisite for exchange and the development of every individual.
In our language education work with the child, the focus is on everyday-integrated and developmentally appropriate
linguistic education with individual children and small groups.
We offer the children plenty of space and diverse opportunities to expand their linguistic abilities and competence.
Once a week, the "Blubberfische" (4 - 6 children aged 3 - 4 years) meet
Learning Workshop
The "Learning Workshop" for preschool children takes place once a week.
The goals of our preschool education are:
- to prepare for the start of school
- to take individual characteristics of the children into account
- to awaken interest and a desire to learn
- to strengthen social skills
Excursions
Regular and diverse excursions offer the children a nice change from the daily daycare routine.
True to the motto "The journey is the reward" we often simply set off
without a fixed route and explore the environment;
nearby forests and streams offer plenty of opportunities for this.
Forest and Meadow Week
Once a year, a Forest and Meadow Week takes place for both groups.
Both groups set off separately to explore the area around Eckardtsheim.
During this week, the children experience their entire daily routine in nature.
After a shared breakfast on the picnic blanket, we start the day with our traditional morning circle ritual.
Celebrations
Many different celebrations take place at our facility throughout the daycare year.
Recurring and seasonal festivities have a permanent place in our calendar.
These include the Lantern Festival, the visit from St. Nicholas, Advent/Christmas parties, Carnival, and Easter.
